Product FAQ

Recommended ball mill for lead-zinc ore with a daily processing capacity of 500 tons.

For a daily lead-zinc ore beneficiation capacity of 500 tons, the selection of a ball mill must consider efficiency, energy consumption, and ore characteristics. Lead-zinc ore has uneven particle size distribution and high mud content; therefore, the grinding fineness typically needs to be controlled at over 85% of -200 mesh (approximately 0.074 mm) to improve flotation recovery. The following two high-efficiency and energy-saving models are recommended:

MQGg2430 Grid Ball Mill: This model has a cylinder diameter of 2400 mm and a length of 3000 mm, employing a rolling bearing design, resulting in low starting current and energy savings of 20%-30%. Its effective volume is 11.5 cubic meters, with a ball loading capacity of 22.5 tons, and a processing capacity of up to 92 tons/hour, fully meeting the daily demand of 500 tons. The grid structure is suitable for coarse grinding operations, quickly processing coarse lead-zinc ore particles and reducing the risk of over-grinding.

The MQYg2436 overflow ball mill has a cylinder diameter of 2400 mm and a length of 3600 mm, with a processing capacity of 100 tons/hour. The overflow design is suitable for fine grinding stages, especially for ores with high mud content, reducing mud interference by optimizing slurry flowability. This model boasts excellent sealing performance, low noise, and meets environmental protection requirements.

Selection Recommendations: Prioritize models with rolling bearings (such as the improved design of the MQGg1530), as they have low maintenance costs and long service life. If the ore has a fine particle size, a hydrocyclone classifier can be added to improve fine grinding efficiency. Actual configuration should be based on ore hardness test results to ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment.
