I. Matching capacity requirements with equipment types

For medium capacity requirements of 30 tons/hour (t/h), it is recommended to give priority to medium-speed coal mills (such as ZGM and HP types). Its technical advantages are reflected in:

Grinding efficiency: The roller disc structure can achieve 0-5mm fineness adjustment

Energy consumption index: Unit power consumption is about 7-9kW·h/t, which is better than the 12-15kW·h/t of the ball mill

Space occupied: The vertical structure saves 40% of the space compared with the ball mill

II. Calculation of key selection parameters

Basic parameter verification:

Raw coal characteristics: Hastelloy grindability coefficient HGI ≥ 50

Feed particle size: ≤40mm (matching crushing system required)

Discharge fineness: R90=18-22% (for boiler combustion)

Power configuration formula:

P=K×Q×ln(100/R)

(K=0.15-0.18, Q=30t/h, R=20% when the required power is ≈250kW)
