The 1500×4500 ball mill is a high-efficiency grinding equipment in the mineral processing field, with its core parameters optimized for medium-scale production needs. The combination of a 1500mm diameter and 4500mm length cylinder creates a grinding volume of approximately 7.9 cubic meters. The ball loading is typically 3.5-4.5 tons, with motor power ranging from 380-450 kW and a rotation speed of approximately 24-28 rpm. This structure achieves graded grinding of materials in two chambers through the synergistic effect of stepped liners and steel balls: the first chamber uses corrugated liners for coarse crushing, while the second chamber uses flat liners for fine grinding, resulting in a final product particle size controllable within the range of 0.075-0.89 mm.

This model demonstrates significant advantages in industrial applications. The dry configuration is suitable for grinding cement and ceramic raw materials, while the wet version is widely used in non-ferrous metal beneficiation, such as the fine crushing stage of copper ore.
